You are invited to 20 election night vote parties across Canada -- National #VoteParty on October 19

OTTAWA – Today, the initiative invited the public and media to come to any of the 20 election night vote parties in 7 provinces at: 

Anyone can register their election night party on that webpage (non-partisan parties that anyone can attend), and will be sharing the word about all the parties on social media through the weekend and on election day October 19th.  

Several Canadian celebrities have done promo videos for the initiative that can be seen on the and at websites.  Please air the videos as PSAs on your TV channels and radio shows (the audio track) through the weekend. is inviting voters to Make a #VoteDate and take a non-voter to vote with them, and is asking voters to Make the #VotePromise to help a non-voter vote. will hold a national #VoteParty on election night.  Share your reaction to the election results, and what’s going on at your local Vote Party, on Twitter with #VoteParty, and on the open Facebook page at:
